Self-Assurance began with a photograph I took in a bar. From that everyday moment, I created a piece that gives self-love and admiration a place to be seen.

For me, it holds a reminder worth returning to: the care and reassurance we give ourselves matter. There is strength in recognizing our own worth, taking pleasure in who we are, and allowing that confidence to show.

For this painting, I altered the photograph, projected the image onto canvas, and painted it by hand.
